Wilt Browning
Deadly Goals is Wilt Browning’s eighth book, many of which were written after his retirement in 1998. Almost all of Wilt’scareer has been in sports, most of it as a writer and editor, but also including serving as the public relations director of the Atlanta Falcons and Baltimore Colts. He was the Braves beat writer for the Atlanta Journal during the team’s first six years in the South. Wilt also worked for the Atlanta Constitution, Greenville(S.C.) News, Greensboro News & Record, and Asheville Citizen-Times. He was chosen as North Carolina’s Sports Writer of the Year five times.
