Amanda Brown is the author and creator of Legally Blonde, the iconic book, movie, and musical. She has also published two other novels, Family Trust, and school of Fortune. She is the Founder and CEO of Legally BlondeProductions, LLC, a production vehicle focused on television and social media content development. Outside of her creative endeavors, Ms. Brown is an active philanthropist with a focus on children’s health and animal welfare. She sits on the Board of Trustees of Mattel Children’s Hospital at UCLA and is the Co-Founder and Co-Chair of Today Tomorrow Children’s Fund at Mattel UCLA. She is also on the Board of Trustees of the Peninsula HumaneSociety and was formerly on the board of Gateway High School, a SanFrancisco Charter School. She earned a BA in Political Science from Arizona State University and attended Stanford Law School. She is married with four daughters and lives in Los Angeles.
